Los Angeles Blue
100% of profits of this shirt will be donated to Its Bigger Than Us — a 501c3 non-profit organization fueled by compassion, collaboration, and a shared commitment to uplifting underserved communities.
Currently, they are building their program THE HUB where recovery becomes resilience.
More than a relief site, the Hub blends the functionality of a wellness space, fulfillment center, and community gathering place, thoughtfully designed to prioritize dignity, access, and care at every step.
Unlike traditional aid centers, the Hub offers a shoppable, uplifting experience that restores a sense of normalcy and choice for families rebuilding after disaster.
After months of emergency response, IBTU has laid the foundation for a new phase of recovery. This Hub is our commitment to long-term healing—a one-stop, trauma-informed resource center in the heart of South LA.
To access services, families must show proof of fire impact (FEMA number, utility bill, lease, or insurance claim).
Furthermore, IBTU is partnering with HACLA and the Workforce Development System to hire individuals directly impacted by the fires to support the operation of the hub. This model creates a powerful feedback loop, putting survivors in the position to lead recovery efforts.
By empowering those most affected, the Hub ensures their services are not only efficient but also deeply human. This is recovery designed with the community, by the community, for the community.
At The Hub, fire-impacted families and individuals can expect:
- Brand-new clothing, shoes, and essential supplies
- Resource navigation
- Mental health and emotional wellness resources
- Programming including yoga, group therapy, tech literacy, etc
One-on-one case management are also coming soon.
IBTU Mission Statement: "At Its Bigger Than Us, we meet people where they are—providing critical resources like food, safety, and community support that address the core needs of human potential. Guided by a framework based on Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, our services are focused on ensuring the stability, dignity, and empowerment of every individual."
IBTU prioritizes the following key areas:
- Physiological: Food Distribution, Healthcare Services, Hygiene Essentials
- Safety: Case Management, Linkage Services, Local Police Partnerships
